My friends and I love to hang out in the city. There’s way more to do in Atlanta than in my small town just outside of the city (OTP for you native ATLiens). Plus the view is amazing.
I’ll be honest, of my group of friends, I’m know the least about the best places to hang out. I have a few hot spots that I like, but when it comes to knowing the ins and outs of Atlanta, my friends take the cake. But even with that knowledge, we still have a hard time picking a place to go on the spot. I know you guys have this same experience.
That’s why the Tuloko app is such a fun saver! It’s an easy to use app that locates nearby black-owned businesses (BOB). Which is perfect for me, especially since I’ve decided to be more intentional about supporting my community. It makes finding something to do so much easier; leaving more time for hanging out and less time for standing around and trying to make decision.
I’m picky and I like to eat, so I always want to go to a place with good food, easy parking (so hard to find in the city) and reasonably priced. Tuloko allows me to check out all of this information beforehand so I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.
Here are a few of my favorite Atlanta spots on the app:
The BQE Restaurant & Lounge is my number one spot for entertainment in the city right now. The service is great and there’s a different special every night.
Studio No.7 is an art gallery, cafe, bar and event space. It’s a mellow space, great for hanging out and indulging in some creativity.
Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint has great food, drinks and a live band. It can be a little crowded on the weekends, but if you can get it, it’ll be a good time.
Live in Atlanta? What’s your favorite place for a night out? Let me know in the comments!
